The Making of A Model Sheet: Otis Spatulus

Alright!  I'm back for another shot at making model sheets for my future comic series "The Adventures of High-Speed Waffle-Man".  So here is my WIP.

If I hadn't said it before, model sheets can be challenging.  Drawing "on model" is harder than it looks.    Little by little, I'm replacing old drawings with some new ones and refining my schtuff.

I referenced some sick model sheets from the new ThunderCats cartoon series on Cartoon Network, to build my template for my model sheets. Check em' out!

The model sheet that I designed is a mixture of the Thundercats style and some model sheets I saw from reference for some Disney and Warner Bros. characters as seen below.

Overall I'm pleased with the result but I do notice things I'd like to improve. Anyhow, thanks to you for checking it out!  Peace.

Entendo. Este mesmo artista já se viu em situações parecidas com a sua e teve que abandonar alguns projetos por serem bem parecidos com os de outras pessoas (para evitar problemas com a justiça). Mas você tem talento, garoto. Você desenha muito bem. Parabéns!

HUG!!!

Man, I must admit this is similar in some ways, and while I respect the creation of this artist, I definitely intend to continue to develop my own creation, for my own pleasure and for those who have been following its progress.

Furthermore, I have had "The Adventures of High-Speed Waffle-Man" registered with the U.S. Copyright Office since 2006.

That being said, good luck on your "Waffle-Man" project. Thanks for the information and thank you for visiting my blog!

I understand. This same artist has been seen in situations similar to yours and had to abandon some projects because they are very similar to those of others (to avoid problems with the law). But you've got talent, kid. You draw very well. Congratulations!

Much Appreciated!
